What’s New in HYAS Insight!

Improved Session Timeout Capabilities IMROVEMENT

If this month’s release seems a little light, that’s because we’re working vigorously behind the scenes preparing some significant updates for you. Nonetheless, we wanted to introduce improved session timeout rules. Now, instead of being automatically logged out after 24 hours, HYAS will check for activity each hour and, if detected, renew the session for another 24 hours.

Benefits:

Enhanced User Convenience: Users no longer need to repeatedly log in every 24 hours. As long as they are active, they remain logged in, which streamlines their workflow and reduces interruptions.
Improved Productivity: By staying logged in while active, users can maintain their focus and productivity without the hassle of re-authenticating, especially during long work sessions.
Security Assurance: The new rule still maintains security by ensuring that inactive sessions are logged out after 24 hours of inactivity. This reduces the risk of unauthorized access if a user forgets to log out.

Settings Menu Simplification IMPROVEMENT

To bring parity to HYAS Protect and make room for future capabilities, we’ve reorganized the Settings Menu and nested SSO under a new menu option, ‘Organization Settings’.

Streamlined User Experience: The reorganized Settings Menu provides a more intuitive layout, making it easier for users to navigate and find the settings they need.
Consistent User Interface: By nesting SSO under ‘Organization Settings’, HYAS Insight maintains a consistent interface with HYAS Protect, enhancing user familiarity and reducing confusion.
Preparation for Future Features: The reorganization sets the stage for future capabilities, ensuring that HYAS Insight can seamlessly integrate new features without disrupting the user experience.
