What’s New in HYAS Insight

Search and Pivot on ASN (Autonomous System Number)

Our clients have indicated in their workflow, often the next logical step in threat hunting is to search or pivot the related ASN numbers that are present on an IP Address in Insight. 

To enable having the relevant data at our fingertips, rather than having to browse externally, we have built the ASN data into our product.  This includes, but is not limited to:

• IPv4 + IPv6 netblocks owned in reference to the ASN

• Peer ASNs

• Upstream ASNs

• Downstream ASNs

• Hosted Domains

When any IP is clicked into, there has always been an "ASN" header followed by the IP's respective ASN.  

With this new capability, now:

• The ASN number can be clicked to pivot into the ASN details

• The ASN number can be searched without having to pivot on the IP.

Improvements

More country flags present in the UI

• Country flags have been expanded throughout the user interface, to enable quick visual scans by country.

Counts in the thousands+ have commas

• Enables enhanced UX, to quickly visualize numbers (100k vs 1M vs 10M)
