Block Page

Block Page Overview

HYAS Protect allows you to create a customized block page to be viewed when a user attempts to access a blocked domain. To enabled or customize a block page for your organization, please visit the Block Page section under the Settings Section in the UI.

Block Page Configuration

Enable

To get started with the Block Page, first enable it by toggling the slider.

Request Access From Block Page

Administrators can allow users within their organization to request access to blocked sites. When enabled, a Request Access button appears on the block page. Clicking this button opens a pop-up where users can enter their name, email address, and reason for requesting access.

After clicking Submit Request, an email is sent to the address configured in the Contact Info section. Administrators can then review the request and decide whether to approve or deny access.

To enable this feature, check the box under the “Enabled” slider. For new Organizations, this feature is enabled by default.

Block Page Message

HYAS includes default messaging for the block page. To customize this message, enter new text in the Message field.

Also, configure the Contact Info fields with who you would like users to reach out to if they have questions.

If the Request Access feature is enabled, this field is required and specifies the recipient of access requests for blocked domains.

Footer Support Information

If you wish to customize the Footer, you may do so by configuring the footer Message and Support Info sections as well as upload your own custom Logo to be displayed on the block page.

When making configuration changes, please be sure to always hit the Save button before exiting.

If you have an issue with the Block Page displaying, please visit the Block Page Troubleshooting section.
